The new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Germany, Gokhan Turan, paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Berlin on March 11.
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Federal Republic of Germany, Berdymurat Rejepov, and Gokhan Turan discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation.
The diplomats emphasized the importance of further strengthening the political, economic and cultural cooperation between Turkmenistan and Turkey, which are united by historically established fraternal relations.
In addition, the ambassadors exchanged views on key international and regional issues.
Having noted the high level of partnership between the two countries, the parties confirmed their readiness to further develop friendly and constructive relations, according to the website of the Turkmen Embassy in Germany.
