According to meteorological services, Ashgabat residents can expect a significant warming next week. According to the Gismeteo forecast, on Wednesday, March 19, the air in the Turkmen capital will warm up above +30°C for the first time this year.
Meteorologists note that the week from March 17 will be characterized by a gradual increase in temperature. On Monday, the thermometer will show +27°C during the day and +12°C at night. Tuesday will bring even warmer weather with a maximum daytime temperature of +29°C and a nighttime temperature of +15°C.
The peak of warming will occur on Wednesday, March 19, when the daytime temperature will reach +30°C. It will also be quite warm at night – around +17°C. However, already on Thursday, March 20, a slight cooling will occur: the temperature will drop to +21°C during the day and +14°C at night.
Doctors recommend that residents of Ashgabat, in connection with the sharp rise in air temperature, drink more clean water, avoid direct sunlight during peak heat hours and be especially careful about physical activity outdoors, especially people with cardiovascular diseases and elderly citizens.
