On March 12, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Armenia Muhammetgeldi Ayazov and Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia Artur Martirosyan discussed issues of the bilateral agenda in the cultural, humanitarian, scientific, educational and sports spheres. The issues of mutual participation of university professors in international seminars and conferences, as well as participation of students and schoolchildren from the two countries in thematic Olympiads were discussed.
Ambassador M. Ayazov reported that under the motto "International Year of Peace and Trust" Turkmenistan holds various events both domestically and abroad.
In this context, the parties discussed issues of holding joint cultural and sports events in Turkmenistan and Armenia with an emphasis on youth.
