Myrat Rahmedov, a specialist in the education department of the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, represented the country at the International Learning Festival (ILF 2024), which was held at the Singapore Polytechnic University to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the university.
ILF 2024 was held on the theme of “Developing Teaching and Learning in the Era of Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Development”, reports “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
The event brought together representatives of science and education, partners of the Singaporean university from around the world to celebrate achievements in higher education, expand ties and cooperation in the academic community to improve teaching and learning methods in the field of artificial intelligence and sustainable development.
The festival includeincludeed:
- International Symposium on Advances in Technological Education (ISATE);
- The Learning Express (LeX) conference, which brought together about 180 rectors and senior management representatives from the University of Singapore and 33 partner universities in the region;
- The International CDIO Working Meeting (IWM) 2024.
The University of Singapore is a long-standing partner of the Collaboration Network for Innovative Engineering Education (CDIO) and has been its regional co-leader in Asia since 2011.
The Oguz Han” University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan was the first university in Central Asia to be accepted as a full member of the CDIO in March 2023.
