During an online conference held yesterday between the Ministries of Education of Turkmenistan and Qatar, a roadmap for cooperation in the field of education between the two countries was discussed.
The Turkmen side was represented at the meeting by Deputy Minister of Education Azat Atayev, and the Qatari side by Deputy Minister for Higher Education Hareb Mohammed Said El Gaberi. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The draft roadmap covers areas such as studying the Qatari experience in reforming the educational system, organizing short-term courses for students and teachers of Turkmenistan, joint scientific research and publications, as well as developing double degree programs in priority areas, including green technologies, artificial intelligence and biotechnology.
The parties also discussed studying the experience of the Qatar Foundation in managing educational institutions, cooperation in monitoring and analyzing educational indicators, developing universities as elements of an innovative ecosystem, and introducing STEM approaches into the educational process.
Representatives of the education systems of the two countries also considered cooperation in the field of digitalization of education and the use of Learning Analytics tools to build individual educational trajectories.
