Turkmenistan and Zambia are establishing cooperation in the field of education. Thus, on September 20, an online meeting was held between representatives of the Ministries of Education of Turkmenistan and Zambia.
From the Turkmen side, the meeting was attended by the head of the Department of Higher Education and the International Department of the Ministry of Education, as well as senior specialists of the International Department.
From the Zambian side, the meeting was headed by Dr. John Machayi, Chief Executive Officer of the Higher Education Loans and Scholarships Board (HELSB).
The agenda included issues of student exchange between universities of the two countries. The participants discussed in detail specific steps to establish student exchanges, paying attention to the development of exchange programs and scholarship opportunities for students of both countries.
Particular attention was paid to discussing ways to establish cooperation between Turkmen universities and educational institutions of Zambia, which opens up new opportunities for the exchange of experience, according to the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
