China National Technical Import & Export Corporation (CNTIC) has announced its readiness to deepen partnership with Turkmenistan in the field of industrial facility construction, transport infrastructure development, and digital technology implementation. This was reported by company president Liu Xu at the second session of the "White City of Ashgabat - 2025" conference.
In her speech, the head of CNTIC, which is part of the Genertec group, emphasized that Turkmenistan is viewed as a key strategic partner with unique potential for long-term industrial growth and infrastructure modernization. The corporation proposed a comprehensive approach to developing cooperation based on three pillars: quality, technology, and financing.
In the technological sphere, CNTIC is ready to implement Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for real-time monitoring of industrial facilities, artificial intelligence for predicting equipment wear, automated production management systems, and digital modeling in industrial facility construction.
Regarding financing of large-scale projects, the Chinese corporation offers a wide range of mechanisms: export financing through Chinese banks with project guarantees, public-private partnerships with flexible participation models, co-financing with regional development banks including ADB and the Silk Road Fund, as well as industrial leasing schemes with deferred buyback and equipment localization.
CNTIC expressed readiness to expand cooperation in the construction and modernization of industrial facilities, including cement plants and processing complexes, development of transport infrastructure with implementation of intelligent traffic management systems, energy and renewable energy sources, as well as in engineering education and personnel development.
The corporation also proposed creating joint competence centers, educational programs in China, and online courses with international certification for training qualified specialists.
