In the first quarter of 2025, the construction and industrial complex of Turkmenistan significantly exceeded the planned indicators, fulfilling the plan for production and work performed by 115,9%. This was reported by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Baymyrat Annamammedov during his report, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, all key departments and organizations of the complex demonstrated a significant over fulfillment of the planned indicators. Thus, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture fulfilled the plan by 112,8%, and the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production reached the level of 120,5%.
The State Concern "Türkmenhimiýa" showed particularly high results, where the plan fulfillment was 127,1%. The Ministry of Energy also exceeded the planned indicators, fulfilling them by 104,4%.
The State Agency for Management of Road Construction and the Ashgabat City Administration also coped with the tasks set, fulfilling the plans by 109,5% and 108,1%, respectively.
After hearing the report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to further increase production volumes in the construction and industrial complex, modernize the energy sector, introduce modern technologies and effectively use production capacities. The head of state gave the Deputy Prime Minister a number of specific instructions in these areas.
