In Rostov-on-Don and Stavropol, meetings were held to discuss the establishment of textile product exports from Turkmenistan to Russia. The events, which took place on April 11 in Rostov-on-Don and April 14 in Stavropol, gathered representatives from the business communities of both countries, including the directors of major Turkmen textile complexes – the Kakhka Textile Complex and Textile Complex named after Great Saparmurat Turkmenbashi in the city of Bayramali.
In Rostov-on-Don, the meeting focused on key issues regarding the development of export supplies of Turkmen textile products to the Russian market, as well as opportunities to improve logistics and eliminate trade barriers. The event was attended by Pavel Olegovich Voytov, head of the international cooperation and foreign economic activity department of the Ministry of Economic Developments of Rostov Region, and Anna Pavlovna Baryshnikova, head of the foreign economic cooperation and exhibition activities department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Rostov Region, as well as entrepreneurs and other experts in foreign trade. One of the key topics was increasing export volumes establishing effective trade channels for Turkmen textile products.
The meeting in Stavropol also focused on strengthening export ties between Turkmenistan and Russia, with an emphasis on developing textile products supplies. High-ranking officials such as Damir Suzanna Khalilievna – Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Stavropol region, Odarich Stanislav Voktorovich – Head of regional business development projects at the representative office of the Russian Export Center in Stavropol, and Natalya Vasilyevna Verozub – Head of the Russian Export Center of Stavropol region.
The Consul of Turkmenistan joint the discussion via video conference and made suggestions for strengthening bilateral cooperation, supporting initiatives aimed at developing trade relations between two countries.
The event in both cities provided participants with an opportunity to discuss long-term cooperation prospects and develop proposals for expanding trade ties and optimizing export procedures.
