A Turkmen delegation consisting of representatives of the Agency for Transport and Communications took part in a technical consultation meeting on the development strategy for Corridor 2 of the Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC), "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" reports.
The meeting was held recently in Baku to discuss current issues, find solutions and develop actions to develop Corridor 2 and to promote the overall economic and transport development of transport corridors in the CAREC region.
The meeting heard reports on the work carried out and the results achieved. Plans within the framework of the CAREC Transport Strategy until 2030 were also considered.
CAREC Corridor 2 is a network-wide transport route that connects East Asia with the Caucasus, the Mediterranean region and southern Europe. Its main objective is to provide efficient and secure transport links between participating countries, facilitating trade and economic growth in the region.
