Yesterday, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan with a delegation from the British Education Network (BEN), the University of London, and Professor David Baker, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AD Education UK.
As reported on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the parties discussed the results of joint projects for 2024-2025, as well as plans for the future.
The delegation from the UK presented projects to create a British International University in Turkmenistan. The Turkmen side was also provided with extensive information about the rich experience of the University of London. The British Education Network platform and the experience of the University of London, which unites 17 renowned colleges and cooperates with more than 100 partners in 40 countries, serve as a solid foundation for further development of cooperation.
Since 2024, training seminars on modern methods of teaching English have been held in Turkmenistan as part of the project “Accelerating English Language Learning in Central Asia”, as well as online consultations with leading British universities.
Turkmen universities received high marks in the international ratings THE Impact Rankings 2024, UI GreenMetric World University Ranking.
Earlier, we reported that educational programs of the University of London are planned to be opened in Turkmenistan.
