The fourth meeting of the Council on Cooperation in Education between Turkmenistan and Türkiye was held in Ankara, in which the Turkmen delegation headed by the Minister of Education Jumamurad Gurbangeldyev took part.
The meeting was chaired by the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye Yusuf Tekin from the Turkish side. During the meeting, the parties discussed the current situation and prospects for partnership in the educational sphere, noting the positive experience of interaction between higher education institutions of the two countries.
In order to strengthen ties between secondary and specialized educational institutions, an agreement was reached to organize meetings and seminars, as well as to exchange best practices in developing modern curricula and teaching methods.
During the visit, the Turkmen delegation also held a meeting with the Chairman of the Council of Higher Education of Türkiye, Erol Ozvar.The parties discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the field of science and education, including issues of reforming the higher education system, organizing short-term courses for Turkmen students and teachers, conducting joint scientific research and publishing scientific articles.
Particular attention was paid to organizing mutual visits, holding joint conferences, seminars and master classes in higher education institutions of both countries, as well as issues of training Turkmen students in Turkish universities.
