The higher education institution of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, designed to train 2700 students, is planned to be commissioned in 2025, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers when summing up the results of 2024.
The new university will be the first higher education institution in the country specializing in the professional training of specialists in the field of entrepreneurship and business. The structure of the university includes six faculties, as well as modern infrastructure, including a library, a conference hall, a canteen, student dormitories and sports grounds. The new university will be located in Ashgabat at the address: Gorogly Street, Building 183.
The construction of the university campus is carried out within the framework of the “Program of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan and investments in 2025”. Until now, the training of entrepreneurs in the country was carried out only at the level of business schools.
The opening of a new higher education institution is intended to provide systematic training of professionals who are expected to become drivers of innovative development and economic growth in Turkmenistan.
