Steps are being taken in Turkmenistan to further increase the number of petrol stations. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov during a government meeting on January 31, TDH reports.

“Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov reported on measures aimed at further improving the quality of services for providing consumers with petroleum products during a government meeting.

As reported, as part of the country’s socio-economic development, large-scale work is being carried out to create new residential complexes, industrial zones and various industries in the capital and velayats.

In this regard, noting that effective steps are being taken to further increase the number of service points for consumers of petroleum products, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal to the President of Turkmenistan for consideration,” the report says.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that modern services for supplying fuel to domestic consumers and transit transport are being created in the country.
