Representatives of the University of Westminster visited Turkmenistan

From January 19-25, 2025, representatives of the University of Westminster visited the International University of Humanities and Development on a working visit.

As part of the visit to the university, a delegation consisting of Andrew Lynn, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Westminster, UK, and Anastasia Bezborodova, Professor of the University of Westminster, UK, will meet and conduct training sessions with students of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University and teachers of the International University of Humanities and Development.

The training sessions held in the areas of 21st Century Pedagogy: Trends and Issues, Methodologically Effective Practitioner, and Technologically Advanced Practitioner.

On January 23, the distinguished guests will meet and conduct training sessions with students of our country's Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute. At the university level, courses will cover topics such as English Medium Education (EME) and CLIL pedagogy, Materials design in EAP, ESP and EFL, Research in EME and Turning your research into an academic paper.
