Turkmenistan was represented at the exhibition “The Eternal Tranquility of Calligraphy and Art”, which was held from January 7 to 14 at the gallery of the National Arts Council of Pakistan in Islamabad. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen Embassy in Pakistan.
Exquisite calligraphic and artistic works of talented artists, photographers and artisans from the member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization glorify the enduring cultural heritage of the peoples of Central Asia and the Middle East.
The exhibits presented by the Embassy of Turkmenistan demonstrated the beauty and diversity of the national culture, its rich history and modernity.
The interest of the guests of the exhibition was attracted by the presentation about the outstanding Turkmen poet and thinker, the founder of the Turkmen literary language Magtymguly Fragi.
The closing ceremony of the exhibition was attended by the Federal Secretary of the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture of Pakistan Hassan Nasir Jami, ambassadors and diplomats of the ECO countries in Islamabad, representatives of UNESCO, and the media.
