In Ashgabat on December 16, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Minister of Energy of Iran Abbas Aliabadi.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, during the meeting issues of bilateral cooperation, in particular in the energy and gas industries, were discussed.
The parties especially emphasized the importance of the visit of Abbas Aliabadi, who arrived in Ashgabat on the occasion of the opening of the 16th specialized exhibition Iran Agrofood.
The parties also exchanged views on promising areas for partnership development.
Let us remind that the products of more than 60 Iranian companies are presented at the Iran Agrofood exhibition in Ashgabat. The exhibition will also include a Turkmen-Iranian business forum.
