On September 27, the capital of Turkey, Ankara, celebrated the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence with colorful illumination of its tallest buildings. The buildings of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Atakule Tower were illuminated in the colors of the Turkmen flag, creating an impressive spectacle in the city’s night sky.

The 140-meter-tall building of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the tallest building in Ankara was decorated with spectacular illumination, turning its façade into a huge red and green flag with characteristic Turkmen patterns, a crescent moon and five stars.

The 125-meter-tall Atakule Tower, a popular landmark and one of the most visited places in Ankara, looked no less impressive. It featured congratulations on Turkmenistan’s Independence Day in Turkish and English. In addition, a video dedicated to the achievements of Turkmenistan was shown on the large screen of the Atakule business center.
