Turkmenistan intends to study developments on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in education presented by the Chinese company ULearning, which is a partner of Huawei.

Thus, within the framework of the Huawei Connect 2024 exhibition, held under the motto Amplifier Intelligence, the delegation of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, who was on a working visit to China, visited the stand of the Smart Education System.

In order to discuss the possibilities of introducing advanced technologies for the digitalization of educational processes in the country, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan Azat Atayev and the founder and chairman of ULearning, Dr. J. Jin. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

During the negotiations, an agreement was reached that, if the Turkmen side is interested, U-Learning is ready to provide access to the Smartclass system to study the possibilities of effective use of AI in education.

Access to 200 users will be provided for piloting the system. Within the framework of this campaign, teachers will be able to evaluate the effectiveness of using artificial intelligence in the learning process, creating educational content and assessing student performance.

The system permits assessing the effectiveness of conducting classes and provides teachers with recommendations for improving the conduct of classes in a specific class. The system also helps teachers in preparing materials for lessons, planning the educational process, compiling test material, conducting a comprehensive assessment and analyzing students' academic performance.

This system is already successfully used in more than 1000 educational institutions around the world. These solutions provide training to more than 10 million users using the latest technologies.

A. Atayev, in turn, presented the developments of Turkmen IT, including the recently launched e-mekdep platform, as well as an online platform for ranking universities and vocational schools, a system of analytics and quality assessment, an information system for higher education, and others. The Chinese side expressed interest in studying Turkmen developments in the context of preparing a comprehensive solution through the integration of software from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and equipment from Huawei.

The parties, having expressed interest in strengthening cooperation, agreed to discuss in detail all issues of interaction.
