Amanmuyrat Modiyev was born on November 11, 1983 in the Babadayhan etrap of Akhal velayat. After graduating from high school in 2000, he entered the painting department at the Turkmen State Art School, where he studied with the artist Guvanchmyrat Khojaniyazov. After successfully graduating from college, in order to improve his education, in 2007 he entered the State Art Academy of Turkmenistan under the leadership of Ovezmuhammet Lallykov, majoring in monumental painting. In 2013, as a result of passionate work, the artist completed his diploma work entitled “Turkmen alymlary”.

Today this monumental work occupies a worthy place in the library of the State Art Academy of Turkmenistan. In 2013, A.Modyev was elected a member of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan.

In 2014, Amanmyrat Modiyev, together with master artist Ashyrmuhammet Kuliev, young artists Bayram Bazarov and Myratmergen Kuliyev, created a monumental canvas called “Turkmen alymlary”. This work describes the image of thinkers, scientific works and boundless intelligence, which became a great contribution to the development of science and education of the Middle Ages. Today this monumental work is located in the Technology Center, which was opened in 2014 at the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.

The creativity of Amanmyrat Modiyev can be considered as of a unique art world. Everything in it has a special beauty and decorative richness. The artist looks at every event in life in a special way. Sceneries, embodying the richness of his creative views like cubism, abstracsionism and impressionism of modern artistic styles, received wide recognition among viewers.

The artist gives an attention the great importance to this genre. Landscapes that poetically glorify beautiful nature, values bequeathed by our ancestors, and thematic compositions also find their rightful place in the artist’s work.

In the artist’s works, such as “Nygmatlar”, “Durmush”, “Miras”, “Sazlashyk”, the artistic features of cubism are reflected in the wonderful world of flowers, fruits, and artistic images of nature, as the main characters express the multifaceted worldview of the author. At the heart of the artist’s simple but striking works, the mutual harmony of the universe and all things is explained in a philosophical manner.

Amanmyrat Modiyev, who has been teaching at the State Art of Academy of Turkmenistan for many years, teaches the younger generation the subtle secrets of painting. At the same time, he actively participates in exhibitions and competitions held in the country, where the artist’s creative achievements are clearly revealed. In 2022, A. Modiyev took part in a competitive exhibition organized between artists from Central Asia and the Republic of Kazakhstan, becoming the winner.

In 2022, he also becomes the winner of the “Golden Age of Turkmen” competition announced by the President of Turkmenistan. The result of hardworking, Which works are “Gechmishden geljege”, “Guneshli ulkam” called mosaic compositions and “Uzarlik”, “Keýik okara”, “Atlar”, “Gulli kuyze”, “Jang”, “Gunebakarlar” painting works, to win this competition.
