The “Central Asia – China” Media Cooperation Forum 2025 has opened in the capital of Kazakhstan on the theme of “Deepening Media Cooperation for Joint Development”. The President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech.
The forum is attended by representatives of the leading media outlets of Central Asian countries and China. The organizer was the Chinese newspaper “Renmin Ribao”.
From Turkmenistan, the heads and correspondents of the electronic newspaper “Golden Age”, the newspapers “Neutral Turkmenistan” and “Turkmenistan” are participating in the work of the forum, as reported on the website turkmenmetbugat.gov.tm.
The program of the event includes thematic sessions on the issues of “The mission of the media – a bridge for inter-civilizational dialogue” and “Promoting mutually beneficial development within the framework of the Silk Road Economic Belt”.
A press tour of the cities of Kazakhstan is planned for the forum participants, which will take place from May 29 to 31.
