1. “Arkadag” became the winner of the AFC Challenge League. In the decisive match in the capital of Cambodia, Vladimir Bayramov's team defeated the “Svay Rieng” club with a score of 2:1 in extra time. The goals for the Turkmen team were scored by Mekan Saparov in the 59th minute and Altymurat Annadurdyev in the 112th minute.

2. Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko and Governor of the Astrakhan Region of the Russian Federation Igor Babushkin sent congratulatory messages to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov in connection with the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
3. The Russian Embassy in Ashgabat presented the collection “Turkmenistan’s Contribution to Victory in the Great Patriotic War: History and Modernity”. Russian diplomats, publicists and representatives of Turkmen scientific circles participated in the compilation of the publication. “For the first time, photographs of participants in the Great Patriotic War have been published from the family archives of the country’s residents. The publication also includes articles about the work carried out in modern Turkmenistan to preserve the historical truth about the Great Victory,” said Russian Ambassador to Ashgabat Ivan Volynkin at a reception on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Victory.
4. The first specialized exhibition of export opportunities of Turkmenistan was held in the Iranian city of Gurgen. The event, which took place over three days at the International Exhibition Center, brought together 12 state enterprises and about 50 member companies of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
5. The 7th Central Asian Conference on Climate Change (CACCC-2025) will start in Ashgabat on May 13: “Achieving the global goal of climate finance through the implementation of regional and national measures in Central Asia.”
