Within the framework of the first ministerial forum of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) on sustainable development in the city of Arkadag, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Vice President, Head of the Planning and Budget Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Hamid Pourmohammadi.
Having discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, the parties expressed interest in increasing trade turnover between the two countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
The diplomats also exchanged views on the development of partnership in areas of mutual interest.
