Employees of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Moscow took part in the laying of flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, which took place on April 25 in the Alexander Garden. This was reported on the website of the Turkmen diplomatic mission.
The event was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and was organized by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Fearless Turkmen warriors were awarded military orders and medals for courage and bravery demonstrated on the battlefields of one of the most merciless wars in the history of mankind. More than a hundred Turkmen warriors were awarded the high title of Hero. The glory of the valiant and brave ancestors who defended the freedom and independence of the Motherland is inscribed in golden letters in the historical annals of the people, the names of national heroes are immortalized in the commemorative publications "Hatyra" and "Şöhrat", the source notes.
