The first session of the day will focus on investment opportunities in Turkmenistan's energy sector with emphasis on the oil and petrochemical industries. Chairman of SC "Turkmenneft" Guvanch Agajanov and Chairman of the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" Gurbangedy Garlyyev have already presented the country's strategic approach to utilizing significant hydrocarbon reserves to stimulate economic growth, diversification, and integration into global markets.
Chief Executive Officer of PETRONAS Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd Ismadi Bin Ismail will deliver a report on attracting investments to develop oil blocks in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea. Managing Director of "Eni Turkmenistan Limited" Giorgio Castriota will share innovative approaches in the exploration and production of hydrocarbon resources. Regional Director of GaffneyCline Energy advisory Steven Travers will present an analysis of the development and planned construction of modern petrochemical complexes.
President of the Malaysia Oil & Gas Services Council (MOGSC) Syed Saggaf Syed Ahmad will review Turkmenistan's legislation in the hydrocarbon resources sector. Chief Executive Officer of EnQuest Southeast Asia Ahmed Radzif will report on optimizing oil production at mature fields. Chairman of the SPE Kuala Lumpur Section Anwarudin Saidu Mohamed will present innovations and challenges in modern geology.
The second part of the day will be dedicated to Turkmenistan's environmental initiatives and its participation in global climate agreements. Deputy Chairman of "Turkmengaz" Myrat Archayev will talk about strategies for reducing methane and CO2 emissions in the oil and gas industry. Director of the Caspian Sea Institute Myrat Atajanov will present the country's initiatives to protect the ecosystems of the Aral and Caspian Seas.
Director General of the International Renewable Energy Agency Francesco La Camera and other international experts will discuss innovative solutions in carbon capture and renewable energy development. Special attention will be paid to emission reduction projects and Turkmenistan's efforts in managing emissions at the Darvaza crater.
