Works by Turkmen composers will be performed at the concert «Spirit of Unity» to be held in Baku on May 3 as part of the celebration of the Day of Unity of the Turkic World.
The concert will be held at the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic named after M. Magomayev in Baku.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan jointly with the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and the Azerbaijan Philharmonic.
The concert will feature folk songs, as well as works by composers from Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Hungary.
The Day of Unity of the Turkic World has been celebrated since 1944.
