Preparations are underway in Turkmenistan for the Days of Libyan Culture, the opening ceremony of which will be held at the Museum of Fine Arts of the country. Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Bahar Seyidova reported on the progress of preparations for this cultural event, TDH reports.
As part of the Days of Culture, an exhibition of Arabic calligraphy, national costumes and dishes of Libya, as well as a book exhibition will be organized. A conference on the topic “The role of Turkmen scientists in revealing the cultural development of mankind and in enriching the Arabic language and Islamic education” is planned.
The program of the event also includes excursions for guests to the sights of Ashgabat, a visit to the cultural and park complex “Magtymguly Fragi”, the State Museum of the State Cultural Center and the Museum of Fine Arts.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, having heard the report on the preparations, instructed to ensure a high level of holding the Days of Culture of the State of Libya. The exact dates of the event have not yet been announced.
