In a letter to the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev confirmed his participation in the International Forum of Peace and Trust, which is planned to be held on December 12 in Ashgabat, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
"Thank you for the invitation to the International Forum of Peace and Trust scheduled for December 12, 2025 in Ashgabat. I confirm my participation in this important event," the statement said.
According to Tokayev, the initiative to hold this representative forum emphasizes the special role of Turkmenistan in strengthening the atmosphere of universal trust and mutual understanding, and reflects Ashgabat’s consistent commitment to the principles of peaceful coexistence.
“I am confident that the upcoming forum will become an important platform for exchanging opinions and developing practical solutions on pressing issues on the international agenda,” President Tokayev noted.
Earlier, the head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev also confirmed his participation in the International Forum of Peace and Trust.
