Turkmenistan
1. Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova conveyed to the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan an invitation to take part in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality in Ashgabat. During the meeting in Ankara, the parties noted the high level of development of interstate relations based on the principles of mutual respect and trust.
2. During the visit, Gulmanova held talks with the Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Numan Kurtulmus, during which the parties discussed the development of inter-parliamentary dialogue. The Turkish side proposed that the Mejlis of Turkmenistan become a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-Speaking Countries.
3. At the same time, a delegation headed by the Minister of Education of Turkmenistan Jumamurad Gurbangeldyev was in Ankara. During the meeting with his Turkish counterpart Yusuf Tekin, the prospects for partnership in the educational sphere were discussed.
4. In addition, the issue of providing the Joint Turkmen-Turkish General Education School in Ashgabat with a plot of land or a modern building was raised.
5. In addition, the eighth meeting of the intergovernmental Turkmen-Turkish commission on economic cooperation was held in Ankara. The participants noted the growth of trade turnover between the countries and identified priority areas of cooperation. 7. Following a meeting in Bishkek, Turkmenistan Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and Kyrgyzstan Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubayev signed a cooperation program between the foreign ministries of the two countries for 2025-2026.
8. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the head of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov. The parties confirmed the high dynamics of development of relations between the two countries. Japarov expressed the intention of the Kyrgyz side to participate in events initiated by Turkmenistan at a high representative level.
9. EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas will visit Ashgabat in March to participate in the EU-Central Asia Ministerial Meeting. The 20th meeting of the Central Asian and EU Foreign Ministers will be held in Ashgabat on March 4.

10. At a meeting with Turkmenistan Ambassador Batyr Rejepov, Kazakhstan's Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu stated Astana's interest in expanding and deepening strategic partnership with Ashgabat. During the meeting, the parties reviewed the schedule of events planned for 2025 in bilateral and multilateral formats. Topical issues of cooperation were also discussed. Rejepov conveyed an official invitation to the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on behalf of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to attend the International Forum of Peace and Trust, which will be held in Ashgabat on December 12.

2. Spain's national museums have begun the process of removing human remains from their exhibition halls in accordance with a new decree from the country's Ministry of Culture. The document stresses the importance of ethical handling of such exhibits and respect for human dignity. According to the Ministry of Culture, Spanish museums hold about 15 thousand specimens of human remains, including mummies and bone fragments. 1. The Turkmenistan U-18 hockey team will take part in the World Junior Championship, which will be held from February 28 to March 6 in Bangkok.
