The goalkeeper of the Turkmenistan women's futsal team, Malika Eminova, has been recognized as the best goalkeeper of the 2025 Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) Championship.
She received an individual award at a gala awards ceremony in Dushanbe.
Iran national team forward Maral Torkaman was named the tournament's most valuable player and became the top scorer of the 2025 CAFA Championship, scoring 10 goals. The Kyrgyzstan national team was awarded the Fair Play prize.
It is worth noting that Turkmen specialists took part in servicing the CAFA-2025 matches: FIFA referees Timur Ramazanov and Merjen Bahshiyeva, as well as AFC international instructor/inspector Vadim Baratov, who were also awarded special medals.
The winner of the tournament for the fourth time in a row was the Iranian team (12 points), which achieved convincing victories over the teams of Uzbekistan (9:0), (Kyrgyzstan 10:0), Turkmenistan (5:1) and Tajikistan (10:1).
The silver medalist of CAFA-2025 was the team from Uzbekistan (7 points), the bronze medals were awarded to the futsal players from Kyrgyzstan (5), the representatives of Turkmenistan finished fourth (4), and the players of the Tajikistan team closed the tournament table, having scored no points.
