Concert in honor of Turkmenistan's Independence Day held in Ashgabat

Yesterday, a large concert of artists dedicated to Turkmenistan's Independence Day was held at the Mukam Palace of the State Cultural Center.

As reported by TDH, stage masters and young pop soloists, famous folklore and dance ensembles, the State Choir, and children's creative groups took part in the concert.

The overture to the grand event was the song and musical composition Adalatly Arkadagym bar meniň, Arkadagly Serdarymyz bar biziň! Performed by the Hero of Turkmenistan, People's Artist of Turkmenistan A. Nurmukhammedova and the folklore group «Dokmachilar».

Next came the children's dance ensemble Şowhun, the State Dance Ensemble of Turkmenistan and the drum group Arçabil, who masterfully performed the festive literary and musical composition Oguzlar.

The concert continued with the performance of the violin ensemble «Mukam» with the composition Buýsançly nagmalar.

Then the musical and choreographic composition Pähim-paýhas ummany Magtymguly Pyragy was shown to the words of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

During the concert, the best examples of national song and music classics and modern works were performed, original vocal and choreographic compositions were performed, glorifying the Motherland, its beauty and power. Folklore numbers, recreating the original customs and traditions of the Turkmen people carried through the centuries, organically fit into the festive program.

The audience greeted the performances of the State Dance Ensemble and the groups “Galkynyş”, “Näzli”, “Laçyn”, “Meňli”, “Serpaý”, “Miras”, “Aşgabat” and others with thunderous applause.

Then the song «Arkadagym, Arkadagly Serdarym!» was performed, which expressed the boundless love of the Turkmen people for their President through music and poetry.

A real gift for the audience was the song «Jan Watanym Türkmenistan!», written to the words of the Hero Arkadag. This inspired musical composition sounded like an anthem of the country, every day of whose life is filled with great labor victories and national celebrations.

A powerful final chord of the celebration was the inspired song «Garaşsyz, Bitarap Türkmenistan!» performed by leading pop soloists, the choir of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kulieva and all the participants of the concert.
