The delegation of Turkmenistan will take part in the 10th International Forum of United Cultures, which will be held in St. Petersburg from September 11 to 14. The main theme of the forum is “Culture of the XXI century: Sovereignty or Globalism”, reports “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
The Turkmen delegation, headed by Deputy Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Nursahet Shirimov, included Deputy Chairman of the Oguz han “Turkmenfilm” Association Sahysalyh Bayramov and two teachers from the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory.
Heads of government bodies from different countries, leading experts and world-famous cultural figures will hold multilateral discussions on the prospects of international cultural cooperation.
Teachers of the Turkmen National Conservatory will present national musical and vocal art. Sahysalyh Bayramov will speak at the thematic session “Cinema”, where he will talk about various formats of cooperation with CIS filmmakers, including a joint Turkmen-Uzbek project to create a full-length feature film about the life and work of the outstanding classical poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi.
The forum program includes 10 thematic areas: “How art helps peoples defend their right to history”, “Artificial intelligence and national sovereignty”, “Cultural heritage: traditions and modernity”, “Business culture”, “Media culture”, “Cinema”, “Theater”, “Music”, “Circus”, “Museums”.
Guests and participants of the event will be able to visit new exhibitions, theatre premieres and concerts by famous performers, the source notes.
