For Tottenham, this is the first European trophy in 41 years. The last time the Spurs celebrated victory in European competitions was in 1984, when they won the UEFA Cup.
Thanks to the victory in the Europa League, Tottenham will directly enter the main round of the Champions League next season. In the English championship, the Spurs are in 17th place.
