The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the 78th session of the World Health Assembly, which was held in Geneva on May 19-20.
The Turkmen delegation was headed by the Minister of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan Myrat Mammedov, who also spoke at the plenary session. This was reported by the press service of the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the UN Office in Geneva.
In his speech, the minister emphasized the country's priorities in healthcare, namely primary health care, disease prevention, training of qualified personnel, and digitalization in medicine. M. Mammedov placed special emphasis on international cooperation and solidarity, the source notes.
