Turkish Airlines has announced the expansion of its route network in Southern Europe. From September 17, the carrier will begin operating daily flights from Istanbul to Seville, which will become the airline's sixth destination in Spain after Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Malaga and Bilbao.
Seville, one of the key cities of Andalusia and the oldest settlements in Spain, is known for its rich historical heritage. The city preserves numerous traces of the ancient era and the Umayyad period. Seville's cultural diversity is reflected in its historic churches, gardens and unique art collections. In addition, the city is famous as one of the most important gastronomic centers of Spain with traditional Andalusian cuisine.
By launching daily flights between Istanbul Airport and Seville Airport, Türkiye’s flag carrier aims to strengthen its presence in the region and offer passengers more travel options.
