3. The Alley of Memory, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, was opened on the territory adjacent to the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan. More than 100 coniferous and deciduous trees were planted as part of the event.
4. On May 19 and 20, the Mukam Palace in Ashgabat will host the “Music of the World” Festival, which will bring together academic music stars from different countries on one stage. Among the guests of the event will be the art director of the Moscow International Arts Festival “Sounds of Dutar” named after Nury Halmamedov Mamed Huseynov and his wife, opera singer, artist of the Moscow “Helikon Opera” Theater Darya Huseynova.
5. Students from Turkmenistan won 1 silver and 3 bronze medals at the 59th International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad for Schoolchildren, which was held from May 5 to 13 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. In particular, Rustem Jumayev was awarded a silver medal among Turkmen schoolchildren. Bronze medals were awarded to Aigul Atajanova, Diyar Dovletov and Jeren Akmuradova. About 200 schoolchildren from 40 countries took part in the international Olympiad.
6. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the UN Resident Coordinators in the countries of Central Asia. It was noted that the UN plays a key role in strengthening peace, security, human rights and sustainable development in the region. In recent years, Central Asia has become a platform for the implementation and scaling of many UN initiatives in the field of combating climate change, water and food security, gender equality, digitalization of public services, education and healthcare.

1. The International Economic Forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum", held in Kazan from May 13 to 18, attracted more than 10 thousand people from 103 countries. 1. The 45th General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) was held at a high organizational level in Kuwait.
