Visitors to the World Expo 2025 Osaka are sharing photos and impressions of the Turkmenistan pavilion, which has already become one of the popular attractions of the exhibition, on social media.
Guests from around the world are actively getting acquainted with the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, presented in the three-level pavilion.
The architectural solution, reminiscent of a light triangle with a dome inspired by the traditional Turkmen decoration gülyaka, is of particular interest to tourists. The exterior, reflecting the beauty of the Karakum Desert, attracts attention with its originality and symbolism.
On the ground floor of the pavilion, visitors are immersed in a virtual journey around Turkmenistan thanks to spherical screens and immersive technologies. Many tourists note the impressive introductory video about the innovative smart city of Arkadag, demonstrating the country's modern achievements.
On the third floor, tourists happily photograph collections of famous Turkmen carpets, national embroideries and museum exhibits. Many share online images of an open terrace with traditional Turkmen tapjans, where aromatic green tea and national treats are offered.
The World Expo 2025 opened on April 13 on the artificial island of Yumeshima in Japan's Osaka Prefecture and will run until October 13. The event is attended by 158 countries and regions, as well as seven international organizations. Turkmenistan's National Day was celebrated at the exhibition on April 14.
