Young athletes from Turkmenistan won three medals at the international table tennis tournament "The Road to Shanyrak" held in Almaty. This was reported to Turkmenportal by the Chairman of the Table Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan Agamurat Allanazarov.
Aygul Dovletaliyeva brought the gold medal to the Turkmen team among girls, and Nurana Yaranova won the silver. Silapberdi Yolbarsov won the bronze among boys.
"Our team demonstrated a high level of training. We have a promising team of players, which gives grounds for optimistic forecasts regarding the development of table tennis in the country" Allanazarov emphasized.
It should be noted that another representative of Turkmenistan, Nabat Geldiyeva, stopped one step away from a prize place, sharing 3-4 positions with a tennis player from Kazakhstan.
The tournament was attended by about 400 athletes aged 9 to 13 years from various regions of Kazakhstan, as well as Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The Turkmen delegation was represented by 14 tennis players under the guidance of three coaches - Enejan Balliyeva, Ravil Ahmedov and Davut Yakubov.
The national team of Turkmenistan included Mukam Artykov, Sabina Volchemis, Safiya Begenjova, Nabat Geldyeva, Dortguly Allanazarov, Shirin Charyeva, Arslan Gurbanov, Jennet Amandurdyeva, Resul Dovranov, Silapberdy Yolbarsov, Nurana Yaranova, Atakhan Pigamov, Nazar Abdyev and Aigul Dovletalieva.
