1. The working visit of the Turkmen delegation headed by the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova to Ankara has begun. The purpose of the visit is to strengthen inter-parliamentary relations between Turkmenistan and Türkiye. During the visit, meetings with Turkish officials are planned. Particular attention will be paid to discussing initiatives of universal significance based on the permanent neutral status of Turkmenistan.
2. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the delegation of the European Parliament headed by Giuseppina Princi, head of the group for cooperation with Central Asian countries. During the talks, the parties highly appreciated the cooperation of Turkmenistan with the European Parliament. The Turkmen side confirmed its commitment to developing multifaceted cooperation with the EU both in a bilateral format and within the framework of the EU-Central Asia format.
3. According to the production calendar of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population published at the beginning of 2025, Turkmen citizens will have four days off in March. The following are declared official non-working days: March 8 – International Women's Day, March 21-22 – National Spring Holiday Novruz Bayramy, March 30 – Oraza Bayramy.
4. A competition called “A Mother’s Heart is Filled with Warmth” is being held among theaters in Turkmenistan, initiated by the Ministry of Culture in cooperation with the National Center of Trade Unions and the Central Council of the Women’s Union of Turkmenistan. The results of the competition will be announced on March 1 on the stage of the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater.

5. A meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Akhmet Gurbanov and Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Gansu Province of the People's Republic of China Zhao Jun took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The parties noted the dynamic development of Turkmen-Chinese relations. Particular attention was paid to the importance of contacts in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.
World
1. The largest event in the tourism industry, the ITF exhibition, will be held on September 25-26 in Istanbul. The main goal of the exhibition is to create a platform for bringing together tourism professionals from all over the world, to promote business cooperation and the promotion of innovative tourism products and services. The program includes expert presentations and thematic sessions that will open up new prospects for market participants. A special event of the exhibition will be a gala party scheduled for the evening of September 25.
2. Prolonged snowfalls are creating an extreme situation on the coast of Japan. Massive snowdrifts have covered roads, trees and roofs of residential buildings. In the city of Minamiuonuma, the snow cover has reached almost four meters. The situation is even more impressive at the Sukayu Onsen ski resort, where snowdrifts are as high as two-story buildings. This is the highest figure in the last decade.

1. The start of the Turkmenistan Football Premier League in the 2025 season is scheduled for March 4. The national trophy will be played for by 8 teams. The championship will start with the match between “Ahal” and “Nebitchi”. The next day, March 5, two more matches will be held: “Altyn Asyr” will host “Ashgabat” in the capital derby, and “Merv” will travel to visit “Shagadam”. Let us remind that in 2024, the Turkmenistan Football Championship was held in four rounds. The winner for the second time in a row was the “Arkadag” team. Silver medals of the national championship were won by “Ahal”, and bronze by the capital's “Altyn Asyr”.
