1. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Hojamyrat Geldimyradov, during his speech at the third Caspian Economic Forum in Tehran, proposed that the Caspian states create joint logistics centers and platforms.

2. Chairman of the Board of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of Turkmenistan Rahimberdi Jepbarov made a working visit to Japan. A number of meetings aimed at expanding Turkmen-Japanese cooperation were held in Tokyo.

3. A delegation consisting of specialists from the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, representatives of the "Turkmensvyaz" Agency and the Oguz han Turkmen Engineering and Technology University visited leading German clinics.

4. The Central Asian Climate Change Conference will be held in Ashgabat from May 13 to 15. During the conference, government officials and international experts will discuss climate finance mechanisms and the implementation of environmental initiatives in the region.

5. The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan held a meeting with a delegation from Nottingham Trent University in the UK. The parties discussed issues of expanding bilateral cooperation in higher education, in particular, improving English language teaching, teacher training programs and academic exchanges.

6. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the delegation of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. The parties emphasized the importance of joint consultative work on developing national plans and programs in the field of human rights, improving democratic institutions in Turkmenistan and joining international treaties.

7. Archaeologists have made a historic discovery in Egypt – the tomb of Pharaoh Thutmose II, who reigned from 1493 to 1479 BC. It is the first tomb of a pharaoh to be discovered in a century. The site, designated Tomb C4, was found west of Luxor during a two-year excavation by a joint British-Egyptian expedition. Initially, archaeologists believed that the burial belonged to the ruler's wife, but the discovered inscriptions confirmed that this was the tomb of the "dead king" himself.

8. One of the largest cities in the Philippines has launched an unusual initiative to combat dengue fever - locals are being offered money for catching mosquitoes. For every five insects caught, residents can receive one peso. The reason for this decision was the increase in cases of dengue fever in the country, which has already led to the death of two students. The captured live mosquitoes and their larvae are destroyed using ultraviolet light.

9. At the conference of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan held in Ashgabat, Guvanchmukhamed Ovekov was unanimously re-elected as chairman for a four-year term. The conference was attended by representatives of FIFA, AFC, NOC, the Ministry of Justice and the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan.During the conference, deputy chairmen were also elected. Rakhat Garajayev took the post of first deputy, and Nazar Choliev became the second deputy. In addition, the participants of the event formed a new composition of the FFT Executive Committee.

10. All participants in the 1/8 finals of the Champions League have been determined. On Wednesday, Real Madrid, French PSG, Borussia Dortmund and PSV Eindhoven made it to the playoff round.
