The Turkmenistan table tennis team went to the international tournament, which takes place in Doha (Qatar) from January 27 to 30.
According to the press service of the Table Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan, medals will be awarded at this tournament in several age categories from U11 to U19. The strongest athletes from Asia, Arab countries and Europe will take part in the competition, which makes the tournament highly rated and attracts the best players.
The national team of Turkmenistan is represented by Ilyas Allanazarov, Vepa Meredov, Nazim Durdyev, Atakhan Pygamov, Dortguly Allanazarov, Mukam Artykov, Arslan Gurbanov, Nazar Abdyev and Jennet Amandurdyeva. The team is led by coach Davud Yakubov.
This tournament is the beginning of the preparation of Turkmen masters for the 2026 Youth Olympic Games and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
