1. The Belarusian airline "Belavia" is increasing the number of flights between Turkmenbashy and Minsk. According to the company's press service, from November 23, "Belavia" aircraft will fly on the Minsk-Turkmenbashy route twice a week - on Tuesdays and Saturdays. According to the schedule, Saturday's flight will depart from Minsk at 9:30 and arrive in Turkmenbashy at 15:35 local time. Tuesday's flight is scheduled for a later time - departure from the Belarusian capital at 22:45 with arrival in Turkmenbashy the next day at 04:50.
2. The open joint stock company "Demirýollary" announced an open international tender for the design and turnkey construction of a carriage repair plant in the Gyzylarbat etrap of the Balkan velayat with the improvement of the adjacent territory. To participate in the tender, you must submit an application, receive a lot specification and technical requirements, and a package of tender documents. Applicants must then submit bids within 30 days.
3. On October 29, the closing ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Armenia took place at the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. The speakers who spoke at the ceremony emphasized that such creative events help strengthen the traditional ties of friendship and brotherhood between the two peoples. The participants of the event expressed sincere gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the hospitality shown on Turkmen soil and assistance in the successful holding of the cultural event.
4. The qualifying stage of the competition for innovative projects “Digital Solution - 2024”, organized by the "Türkmenaragatnaşyk" Agency, continues in Turkmenistan. The competition is aimed at identifying and encouraging young people involved in computer science and innovative technologies. Since the announcement of the competition, more than 300 digital projects have been received from students, schoolchildren and technology enthusiasts of the country.
5. Consultations on cybersecurity were held in Ashgabat on October 28-29 with the participation of representatives of the relevant ministries and departments of Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China. 6. The Turkish company Baykar Defense and Kazakhstan agreed to develop a roadmap for organizing the production of tactical unmanned aerial vehicles in the republic. The corresponding agreements were reached during a meeting between the Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan, Ruslan Zhaksylykov, and the General Director of Baykar Defense, Haluk Bayraktar, within the framework of the international exhibition SAHA EXPO-2024 in Istanbul.
7. Ahead of the 2025 anniversary, the Vatican has unveiled an anime-style mascot. The new mascot received the name Luce (translated from Italian as “light”) and appeared before the public in the form of a young girl dressed in a yellow raincoat, the color scheme of which echoes the official flag of the Vatican. 8. The current champion of the Major League of Turkmenistan “Arkadag” defeated the champion of the Kyrgyz Republic “Abdysh-Ata” in the second round match of the AFC Challenge League. The meeting took place on Tuesday in Kuwait and ended with the victory of "Arkadag" with a score of 2:0. Shamammet Hydyrov (27th minute) and Abdy Bashimov (49th minute) scored goals.
