President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree “On the transfer of the day off coinciding with the Day of Remembrance.” This was reported by the news program “Watan” of Turkmen television.
According to the decree, the day off on October 6 (Sunday) is transferred to October 7 (Monday).
All institutions, enterprises and organizations of Turkmenistan, regardless of the form of ownership, are ordered to ensure the implementation of this decree.
The document was adopted due to the fact that the Day of Remembrance, celebrated on October 6, falls on a day off. The decree also complies with Part 2 of Article 81 of the Labor Code of Turkmenistan.
