National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the President for the Development of Strategic Partnerships in Central Asia of John Deere Csaba Leiko, reports State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
Csaba Lejko congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence and expressed pride in John Deere's long-standing cooperation with Turkmenistan. He emphasized that the company is interested in continuing and strengthening productive business ties.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that agriculture is one of the most important sectors of the economy of Turkmenistan, and stressed the importance of modernizing the sector using innovations and advanced technologies. The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty expressed Turkmenistan's readiness for further cooperation with John Deere, which will contribute to the renewal of the material and technical base of the country's agro-industrial complex.
At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed confidence in the successful continuation of mutually beneficial cooperation.
