Representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan went on a working trip to Japan. The visit, which will last until September 28, is aimed at strengthening economic ties and promoting Turkmen textile products to the Japanese market.
On September 25, the Turkmen delegation held meetings with “Masui Co. Ltd.” in Osaka, where they discussed issues of improving the quality of textile production in Turkmenistan and the production of towels using “zero twist” technology. The company expressed its readiness to facilitate the entry of Turkmen textile products into the Japanese market.
On the same day, the delegation met with representatives of “Kuraray Trading Co. Ltd.”, discussing Japanese standards and textile production technologies. The company expressed its readiness to cooperate with Turkmenistan in the field of exporting raw materials for production using “zero twist” technology.
On September 26, the Turkmen delegation visited “SHIMA SEIKI”, a manufacturer of high-quality textile equipment. During the meeting, the company's production capabilities and Japanese buyers' requirements for products were discussed.
In the afternoon, the delegation met with “Taishoboseki”, where they learned about the production process of high-quality yarn from imported cotton, including brown cotton.
On September 27, representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan held meetings with JETRO on the issue of opening a trading house of Turkmenistan in Japan.
