Forbes magazine has published its annual ranking of the wealthiest women in Russia for 2024. For the third year in a row, the leader in it is held by Tatyana Bakalchuk, founder and head of the largest online retailer Wildberries. Its capital is estimated at an impressive 5,5 billion USD, gazeta.ru reports.
Second place in the list was taken by Tatyana Litvinenko with a fortune of 2,45 billion USD. Her rise in the ranking is associated with the receipt of a large block of shares in the “Phosagro” company from her husband in 2022.
The top three is completed by Varvara Skoch, the daughter of businessman Andrei Skoch, with a capital of 2,2 billion USD. Her wealth is largely due to her ownership of a stake in the USM holding.
In fourth position is Elena Baturina, president of Inteco Management, whose fortune is estimated at 1,3 billion USD. Rounding out the top five is Natalya Lutsenko with a capital of 1,25 billion USD, who owns half of the shares of the Sodrugestvo group, a major player in the field of oilseed processing.
