An international tender for auditing financial statements of banking institutions will be held in Turkmenistan. This was announced at a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers chaired by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who personally emphasized the need to improve the country's banking system.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H. Geldimyradov presented a report on measures to conduct financial audit, which will be carried out in accordance with the national laws "On credit institutions and banking activities" and
"On auditing activities". The main objective of the audit is to analyze the reliability of financial statements and assess potential financial risks.
The President approved the proposal for an international tender and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to organize the necessary work in this direction. Particular attention was paid to issues of expanding the range of banking services and improving the quality of financial control in the country's credit institutions, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
