Czech Republic Higher Education Fair Held in Ashgabat

Today, the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan hosted a fair of Czech higher education institutions, which attracted a lot of attention from young people.

As reported on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, representatives of all universities in Ashgabat took part in the event, which emphasizes the importance of the event for the educational community of the country.

Leading universities of the Czech Republic were represented at the fair, including Charles University in Prague, the University of Chemical Technology, the Czech Agricultural University and Tomas Bata University in Zlin. Heads of academic departments and international offices, as well as representatives of the CzechPoint.Uz agency, which provides support to students from Central Asia studying in the Czech Republic, were also present.

Young people who attended the fair had a unique opportunity to learn about the programs of Czech universities and the prospects for studying abroad.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan for Higher and Secondary Technical Education Azat Atayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Turkmenistan (with residence in Tashkent) Lubomir Frebort, as well as the Rector of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics, who discussed the possibilities of academic exchange and prospects for bilateral cooperation.
