We are talking about the former nuclear power plant in Fessenheim, which was closed four years ago. After recycling, the materials can be given a new life in the form of everyday items - from kitchen utensils to door fittings. The project envisages the creation of a specialized technology center on the site of the former station. Here, it is planned to convert metal waste with a minimum level of radioactivity into steel and cast iron.
