Petronas became a gold partner of the International Conference “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2024”

Petronas, through its subsidiary Petronas Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd (PC(T)SB), has become a Gold Partner of the 29th International Conference and Exhibition “Turkmenistan Oil & Gas 2024” to be held in Ashgabat from 23 to 25 October.

PC(T)SB began its operations in Turkmenistan’s oil and gas sector more than two decades ago and has established itself as one of the largest oil and gas producers in the country. In 2022, the company celebrated its 1,000th oil production, underlining its long-term presence and contribution to the development of Turkmenistan’s energy sector. Since the commencement of commercial oil production in 2009 from the Diyarbakir field and natural gas production in 2011 from the Magtymguly field, PC(T)SB has cemented its reputation as a leading oil and gas producer and supplier in the country.

This year, PETRONAS celebrates its 50th anniversary, underlining its global commitment to energy development and sustainable development. The company actively supports Turkmenistan’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions by 2030 by implementing low-carbon and climate-resilient solutions. About OGT 2024

The 29th International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan — 2024” (OGT 2024) will be held in Ashgabat from 23 to 25 October 2024. The event is organized by the State Concerns “Turkmengas” and “Turkmennebit”, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the State Corporation “Turkmengeology”. The conference will bring together more than 830 delegates from 51 countries, providing a platform for discussing key issues and development prospects in the oil and gas industry.
